Our heritage
Since 1930, the Greek Orthodox Community of South Australia has been a home away from home — a place of faith, language, culture and belonging. That same spirit of care now reaches into people's homes.

The Greek Orthodox Community of South Australia was founded in 1930 by families who wanted to keep their faith, language and culture alive in a new home — and to look after one another.
Across the generations since, that community has built places of worship, schools, cultural life and lasting friendships. Caring for our own has always been at the heart of it.

Archival photography to be supplied by GOCSA.
This page is ready to feature GOCSA's real heritage — historic photographs, monuments, places and milestones from the community's own archives and records. Please provide these images and dates so we can showcase them here, with the correct detail confirmed.
The same community that built churches, schools and a cultural home now extends that care into people's homes — and, in time, into dedicated care centres.
When we care for an older South Australian, we do it as a community that has looked after its people for ninety-five years — with respect, in language, and with love.
Talk to a real person about care for yourself or someone you love. There's no pressure, and no cost to ask.
